Every antique-automobile enthusiast dreams about finding a long-lost car in some garage or barn. A forgotten treasure just waiting for someone.. you.. to rediscover. Such is the case with the automobiles that will be visiting Athens with the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America during their Area 6 Fall Joint Tour.  Members from as far away as Arkansas, Oklahoma, and three regions of Texas will be visiting Athens in antique cars. Onlookers are ALWAYS welcomed!!

 

Thursday September 15th:
7:00 pm Ice Cream Social and Welcome Reception at the Holiday Inn 
  
Friday September 16th:
9:00 am  Tour of Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center
12:30 pm Picnic lunch in the country on CR 3913
2:30 pm Tour of East Texas Arboretum
6:30 pm Dinner at Lake Athens Marina Restaurant
  
Saturday  September 17th
10:30 am Tour of Hatfield Restoration facility
12:00 pm Lunch at Papadales Grill, Canton
2:45 pm Group photo on steps of Henderson County Courthouse in Athens
6:30 pm Farewell Banquet at Athens Country Club
  
Sunday September 18th
  Depart for Home

About the Lone Star Region of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America . . . 

The Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA) was founded in 1961. Our local organization, the Lone Star Region (LSR), was started in 1971. The organization is family oriented and promotes interest in antique and classic Chevrolets. We preserve and restore old Chevy ’s just for the fun of it.
